This weekend Activision kicks off its very first Call of Duty event dubbed Call of Duty XP that’s kind of like Blizzcon or QuakeCon for Call of Duty fans. To commemorate this event, they’ve tied up with Steam to provide huge discounts on their entire Call of Duty catalogue . Starting today, all Call of Duty games except for Black Ops will be sold for a 50% discount on Steam. This includes everything all the way from the first Call of Duty game to Modern Warfare 2 and its map packs.

Grab ’em while they’re hot
Call of Duty: Black Ops, the latest iteration is available at a 33% discount and its multiplayer is free to play all weekend. This means if you are one of the few people who haven’t experienced it yet, you can try it before you buy it. Ever since Modern Warfare 2, the PC versions of Call of Duty haven’t made it to India stores so this would be the ideal time to pick them up. Hurry though, this offer ends by Monday.
Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now.
