The event will begin shortly…

Samsung has announced that they’ll be launching a brand new tablet today. While that in itself isn’t great news, rumours abound that the device in question will be a budget, 7 inch model that will take full advantage of the “ Make in India ” initiative. There are no facts to present just yet, but various sources indicate that the device might feature a 7 inch, 1280x800 resolution display, incorporate a 4,000mAh battery, a 1.3GHz processor and 1.5GB of RAM. We don’t actually know what is being launched and it could very well end up being something else entirely. Either way, follow this live blog for up-to-the-minute updates direct from the show floor!
