We have seen plenty of leaks about Samsung’s soon to be launched Galaxy Note 7. We have seen it from the front, the back, the side and from a perspective view as well, but the top? Well, this reveals a different take on the device, one that shows off its rounded form and design, what I may term as one of the most well-designed Note smartphones till date.
The leaked images come from Weibo and show off a Galaxy Note 7 in the black model, from every angle possible. While the images are rather small, you do get a better understanding of the upcoming Note 7’s true rounded form factor. The design has some similarities with the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge, but Samsung’s design team seems to have taken things a step further and given it a rounded appearance from every angle possible.
And thanks to the curves, we do have a bit of chubbiness (similar to that on the S7 edge). This could also hint at a bigger battery as the camera appears to sit flush with rest of the back. The display, however, does not flex or bend till the end of the curve, meaning that there more metal at the edges than the flexible display. With that said, Samsung may not go all about with the edge functionality on the Note 7 like its did on the Galaxy S7 edge. What all of this adds to is a comfortable grip something that I did not quite get from the Note 5.
While features and usage may remain the same as last year’s Note 5, the design surely seems to have improved and for some this could be a valid reason to upgrade.
