Samsung's only Tizen-based smartphone Z1 which was launched at Rs 5,700 in India, is now available on the company's e-store at Rs 4,990.

Though Samsung's Tizen Z1 got a ‘higher-than-expected’ sales volume in India, it was just around 1 percent. Even though, it does not look like Samsung is giving up on the Tizen OS. According to a report on TizenExperts, Samsung is in the process of developing the Z2 along with another unnamed Tizen smartphone.

The report states that Tizen Z2 will have a 540 x 960 PLS TFT-LCD display, 32-bit quad core processor, 1GB RAM along with an all new Tizen 3.0 User Interface with similarities to Samsung SUHD TV UI. The unnamed global Tizen smartphone is rumoured to have a 4.8-inch 1280 x 720 Super AMOLED display, 2GB RAM along with an 8MP rear camera.
