Samsung’s success might be due to Android but that hasn’t stopped the South Korean company from experimenting with other Operating systems as well. IBN-Live reports that Samsung will launch the Omnia M smartphone, which will run on the Windows 7.5 operating system. The Omnia M comes is priced at Rs 18,650.
Key features of the smartphone are :
• A 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen.
• A 1GHz processor, a 384 MB RAM and an internal storage space of 4 GB.
• 1,500mAh battery.

• It has a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and VGA front camera.
• The device offers a tile based Metro User Interface.
Windows 7.5 offers features like custom ringtones, visual voicemail, and the ability to send voice based text messages. It also introduces messaging threads, where a user can start a message on text and end it with a Facebook message.
It is also more integrated with Facebook, and other social media.
