Samsung Shows GSM+CDMA Phone

Dual-mode phones have now got the entire country talking after UTStarcom and Yulong demo’d their GSM+CDMA phones at Mobile Asia 2006. Not to be left out of the discussion, Samsung has also come forward with their SCH-W579 dual-mode phone that does tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900) and CDMA (800/1900) both.

The unusual looking phone comes with a QVGA (240x320) 256k color touch-screen display, with a stylus for text input and handwriting recognition as well. On the outside, it has a 96x80 64k color display.
