 "Samsung Sets Up First Digital Zone in Chennai")
Samsung India has announced the setting up of its first ‘Samsung Digital Zone’ in Chennai. The Samsung Digital Zone – an exclusive, interactive display of the company’s digital imaging products is set up at Ground Floor, City Center Plaza, Bata Mount Road, Chennai.
“The South Region represents a key market for us in terms of Printer Sales and based on the consistent performance that we are seeing in this market, we decided to introduce our first Digital Zone concept here. The Digital Zone seeks to provide a very interactive, lifestyle experience to the customers for our Digital Imaging Products”, states Mr. Zutshi, Managing Director, Samsung India. The Company plans to set up around 6 more Digital Zones in metro cities of the country by the end of the year.
Samsung India today also announced the launch of 9 new models of Printers including 2 Mono Laser Printer models (ML-4050N, ML-4551NDR); 4 Multifunction Printer models (SCX-5530FN; SCX-6122 FN; SCX-6322 DN and SCX-6345 N) and Color Laser Printer models (CLP-300 N, CLX-2160 and CLX-2160N). The Flagship of the new range being introduced today is the world’s smallest color laser MFP- CLX 2160 and ML-1630, Samsung’s Mono Laser Printer.
CLX -2160 being launched today is the world’s most compact and lightest color laser all-in-one unit that is one half the size of the conventional printers. Along with the three functions of color printing, scanning, the copying, “CLX-2160” is stylish and compact enough to be operated on a regular-size desk.
With a unique circular toner capable of printing 2000 black-and-white copies, or 1000 color copies, the product’s weight and size have been noticeably reduced, while toner replacement is done by a simple front-loading process.
The “CLX-2160” series provides up to 2400dpi resolution for sharp color printing, along with printing 16 black-and-white copies per minute and 4 colors. The CLX-2160 is priced at Rs. 24, 990 while the CLX-2160 N is priced at Rs. 29, 990.
