According to the report, Samsung plans to launch a budget phone in India. The South Korean company’s   Swedish support page  shows a budget device with model number SM-G350E. The page has listed has three variants of the device – SM-G357M, SM-G357F and SM-G350E (dual-SIM).

According to the report, the GFX Bench result leaked some specifications of the Samsung SM-G357F which revealed that the phone will house Android 4.4 KitKat with a 4.3 inch 480X800 pixels display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 1GB RAM. The smartphone is expected to come with an 8GB built-in storage capacity, 5-megapixel rear camera and 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The other features include accelerometer, GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity options that have now become regulars in most Android phones.

If the rumours surrounding the budget phone are to be believed, we can expect the Samsung SM-G357F to come with specifications identical to the SM-G350E (dual-SIM). The supporting evidence that NDTV sourced from Gadget to Use also mentions the likelihood of the alleged phone being priced roughly around Rs 6,000.

Looks like, Motorola’s Moto E has compelled manufacturers to focuss in the budget segment . Recently, we’ve seen some smartphone like  Micromax Unite 2 , Canvas Engage and  Lava Iris X1  come at similar pricing.
