Samsung might be working on a 'smart ring' wearable!

Samsung plans to get in to the wearables department once again, and this time with rings. A new patent has been revealed which states that the company is working on a smart ring accessory device that can be used to control certain functionality on future smartphones, tablets and smart TVs. According to a report by Patently Mobile, the ring is set to control the TV and he functions that are settable by the ring may include blinds and living room lights as well. The main method to use the ring will be with rotation. One can rotate it left or right to operate functions respectively. The report added that Samsung sees the ring changing TV channels, turning off the lights and raising the blinds and also, some unique functionality with social media networks. One option also comes with an exchangeable lens. The patent shows the phone in different designs hinting at the possibility to give users detachable camera option so that they can change the lenses. Another patent shows a larger camera sensor on the back panel just like the  that was launched in 2014 sporting a 20.7-megapixel BSI camera. There there’s one that shows a big camera module and a thick grip on one end along with a hardware shutter key, but the phone looks thin on the upper side. However, we still don’t know much about these patents. Moreover, companies have numerous patents and not necessarily all make it to the final product.
