Samsung has announced its new NV series of digital cameras. Accompanying the announcement are the 3 consumer level digital cameras - NV3, NV7 and NV10. The Samsung NV3 is a 7 Megapixel digital still camera that features Samsung’s exclusive Digimax Converter software to play movies and MP3 files. The NV3 is a state-of-the-art digital still camera featuring revolutionary SHD optics with the added convenience of a Personal Media Player that allows users to enjoy video content and their favorite music on-the-go. The compact Samsung NV3 digital camera has an MSRP of $349.99. The 7 megapixel Samsung NV7 has effectively created a new “slim-bridge” product category, packing an extraordinary 7x Optical zoom into a super-slim body measuring just 4.2” x 2.5” x .8”. This innovative and unique model also features two types of image stabilization, Optical Picture Stabilization, which physically adjusts the CCD to combat handshake and Samsung’s Advanced Shake Reduction, electronic image stabilization to ensure a steady, crystal-clear shot in almost any shooting condition. The Samsung NV7 has an MSRP of $449.99. This 10 Megapixel NV10 model features the distinctive styling of the NV Series including an innovative touch pad Graphical User Interface, a sleek, brushed black aluminum body and compact design. The Samsung NV-10, measuring just .7-inches thick, includes a Schneider 3x optical zoom lens, a 5x digital zoom and a large, 2.5-inch color LCD display. The Samsung NV10 too comes equipped with Samsung’s Advanced Shake Reduction technology for enhanced image clarity. The Samsung NV10 has an MSRP of $399.99. All of the above cameras will be available by fall 2006.
