Samsung launches Galaxy Grand Prime+; sports Android 6.0, front flash and more

Samsung has released the successor to its Galaxy Grand Prime smartphone, calling it the Galaxy Grand Prime+. This device which is selling as Galaxy J2 Prime in Russia, is priced at RUB 9990 (approx Rs 11,000) approx. According to the phone specifications seen on the Russian ecommerce site, the Galaxy Grand Prime+ sports a 5-inch IPS display with a native resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. It runs on MediaTek MT6737T chipset which has a quad core processor which is paired with 1.5GB of RAM. It will come with 8GB of internal storage with the provision to expand the storage to 256GB using a microSD card slot. Some variants are expected to have 2GB RAM along with 16GB or 32GB of internal storage as well. The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime+ runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with the TouchWiz UI interface. On the camera front, you have an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. Both the cameras come with a dedicated LED flash unit. The phone is powered by a 2600mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, you get LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi and more. The phone comes in three colour variants: black, gold and pink.
