Samsung is finally going to reveal the Samsung Galaxy S9 on 25 February, a day ahead of the Mobile World Congress 2018, according to the Galaxy Unpacked 2018 invite splashed across its homepage.
According to the invite on Samsung's website, the Galaxy Unpacked event will begin at 6 pm CET. Those in India can watch the live stream at 10:30 pm IST.
By the looks of the invite, it is pretty obvious that the focus for Samsung Galaxy S9 will be the camera, considering “The Camera Reimagined,” teaser video.
There have been murmurs about Samsung revamping its camera department on the upcoming flagship. The teaser adds more gravitas to the matter.
It was expected that Samsung Galaxy S9 would be revealed during the recent Consumer Electronic Show 2018. However, in a previous report, Samsung’s mobile communications president, DJ Koh said that the South Korean smartphone-maker would be revealing the Samsung Galaxy S9 at the Mobile World Congress and not at CES 2018.
What is known for certain is that the Galaxy S9 will be housing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset.
