Samsung Galaxy S9 leaked in an official video hours before the official launch at MWC 2018

Looks like **Samsung Galaxy S9** leaks just won’t stop, even though there are just a few hours left for the official launch of the next Samsung flagship. The latest leak is actually an official promo video showcasing the Galaxy S9 / S9+ in all its glory. [caption id=“attachment_4363677” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] ![The Samsung Galaxy S9. Image: Evan Blass/Twitter[/caption] According to The Verge, the leaked video is an official launch video, with “The Phone. Reimagined” as the tagline. The official video which was taken down by Samsung has been re-uploaded by Slashleaks and confirms a lot of the stuff that we already knew about the Galaxy S9/S9+. The video shows the new features such as a real-time Bixby translator, which seems to be working just like Google’s real-time translate feature. Then there’s a dual-lens rear camera with one having an f/1.5 aperture and another having f/2.4 aperture. The camera comes with an augmented reality readiness feature. The Galaxy S9/S9+ will be IP68-rated for water and dust resistance, a feature that is expected from all Galaxy flagships. The fingerprint sensor has been placed just under the camera modules and is centre-aligned. The design of the Galaxy S9/S9+ looks quite similar to the previous year’s Galaxy S8/S8+ with the tall curved edge display, similar button placements, DeX functionality, water resistance and more. (Also Read:  Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus: What we know about the iPhone X competitor to be announced at the MWC 2018 ) Another feature that was shown off was the new DeX dock which lets you connect your smartphone to a larger display to be used as a laptop. Samsung has highlighted the drag and drop functionality, contextual menus, resizable windows with the new generation DeX. Towards the end of the video, Samsung highlights the Enterprise friendliness of the Galaxy S9/S9+ and promises among other things, security updates for up to four years.

Samsung hasn’t spoken much about the actual specifications of the smartphone in the official video. But it looks like the specs will be pretty much in line with the leaks, as the video pretty much confirmed everything else. We will still wait for the official launch tonight at 10:30 PM IST. Tech2 will be present at the Mobile World Congress. Do follow all the **latest updates from the show floor here**
