The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 may bring some cheer to Samsung fans. If the latest buzz online is to be believed, then Samsung is all set to bring back expandable storage.

According to an Italian Samsung blog , the Korean tech giant is all set to bring back microSD card support. It should be noted that Samsung had pulled out expandable storage with the Galaxy S6, and miffed many users. This also led its arch-rivals LG and HTC to highlight the SD card support feature.

Moreover, an expandable storage is something that gives Android users an edge over Apple’s iPhones. Several reports hint at a Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge models. So, they may follow the S6 design philosophy. The premium edition is also expected to feature a 4K display.

Reports have been claiming that the Galaxy S7 could be unveiled in February 2016 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, as was the case for its predecessor in 2015. No, a new report says that the device will release on February 23 or February 25. According to AndroidOrigin , the company plans to release Galaxy S7 firmware on alleged February 23 or 25, which are now also speculated to be the launch dates for the device.

Besides, the Samsung Galaxy A9 has also been spotted on GeekBench sporting a model name SM-A9000. The Galaxy A9 is likely to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 processor, 3GB RAM and running Android Lollipop 5.1.1. The single core test reveals a score of 1446 while the multi core result said 4134.
