Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge leak out in live images for the first time

While we have been hearing about and seeing plenty of leaked images and snippets about the Samsung Galaxy S7 and its elder sibling the S7 edge, a recent update beats them all. For the first time, we have both smartphones photographed in full colour and non-blurry images, that give our first glimpse of the upcoming Android flagships from Samsung.

Both smartphones have leaked out from different sources. While the Samsung Galaxy S7 showed up on a Vietnamese website called  Reviewdao , we only get a view of the back side of the smartphone. Still then, it is said to be a prototype since the back does look more like plastic than the expected glass. What is similar to the previously leaked renders is the shape that now appears to be more rounded and pebble-like compared to past designs. The camera again in line with past rumours protrudes by very little as compared to the current S6 range, which also indicates that there is a bigger battery inside. Additional details from the leaker reveal that the smartphone will sport a Britecell rear camera with a 12MP sensor sporting an aperture of f/1.7.

Coming to the second leak featuring the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge that comes from nowherelese.fr , the smartphone’s front seems to have a curved dual edge display. More important, however are the figures displayed on the screen which indicate a scores that was reported in earlier leaks. The high scores with the AnTuTu benchmarks clearly tell us that this is a smartphone with an Exynos 8890 inside, but again, there is also the model number, SM-G9350 which indicates the same.

What can also be observed from both images, is that Samsung has gone with a sober black finish for the camera setup on the back and the home button and receiver cutouts on the front. Also leaked out are some estimated pricing details from the first source. The Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to be priced at approximately Rs 50,500, while the Galaxy S7 edge is expected cost around Rs 60,000.
