Samsung Galaxy S7 Active specifications have been revealed by VentureBeat before it’s launch by Samsung in partnership with service provider AT&T, likely to be on 10 June. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is the ruggedised version of the normal Galaxy S7 and comes with the usual water resistance, dust resistance with almost the same specifications like the Galaxy S7. This year the design has not changed much except being a bit larger across all the three dimensions by approximately 1 mm than the S6 Active. Samsung S7 Active runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 with 4GB of RAM. The screen size of the phone is about 5.1 inch with 2560 x 1440 pixel Super AMOLED screen panel and an expandable micrsoSD card slot with 32GB of internal storage. The most significant change in this year’s S7 Active is the increase in the battery size from previously 3500mAh to current 4000mAh. It now runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with 12MP rear shooter with dual-pixel sensor for better low light images and a 5MP front camera.
