Samsung and Apple have been fighting for the top spot when it comes to the high-end smartphones segment. Samsung's Galaxy S6 is often pitted against the iPhone 6 to know which one performs better.
Now, a new test by Tom's Guide reveals that the Galaxy S6 could be a tad better. Out of the nine assessments by the site, the S6 won six.
The Galaxy S6 takes the first spot, followed by the LG G4 and the iPhone 6 takes the third spot.
"With its homegrown Exynos 7420 CPU, DDR4 memory and speedy UFS storage, the Samsung Galaxy S6 is the fastest phone you can buy right now. In both real-world tests and synthetic benchmarks, the S6 finished first in 6 out of 9 tests, and it never finished lower than third in the other three, the TomGuide report concludes.
The other phones participating in the test include HTC One M9, Google Nexus 6 and Asus ZenFone 2. The iPhone 6 had the weakest specs in the list while the S6 had the advantage of home grown components.
However, on the sales font, the new iPhone 6 models triggered record high sales figures. The most recent report by Counterpoint reveals that the combined sales of S6 and S6 edge from the April 10 launch to April 30 were better than Galaxy S5’s sales in the same period of 2014.
