Samsung Electronics has finally launched its Galaxy S4 zoom and Galaxy S4 mini smartphones in India.

Samsung Electronics had officially announced the Galaxy S4 zoom last month. The smartphone boasts of features like 10x optical zoom, 16MP CMOS Sensor, OIS and Xenon flash. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and is powered by a 2330 mAh battery.

The Galaxy S4 zoom is priced at Rs 29,900 and is available in white and black colours. It is being launched with introductory offers like free flip cover, interest-free EMI offer for 6 months and 2GB 3G Data free per month for 3 months from Reliance. The S4 zoom features a Zoom Ring that can be used to access the Galaxy S4 Zoom’s key features. When you’re in the middle of a phone call and you see something you absolutely have to share, a quick twist of the Zoom Ring will activate the In-call Photo Share feature that allows you to capture and send an image directly via MMS to whoever you are talking to. In addition to that, the Zoom Ring can be used to activate the Quick Launch and Shortcut features for access to multiple camera modes, including Auto, Gallery and Smart Mode.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 zoom runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2. It includes Touchwiz as on the recently announced Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone, which can help you fully customise various aspects of your device, including the lock screen and notification bar.

Samsung Galaxy S4 mini
Officially announced in May, the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini is a heavily toned-down version of the very powerful Galaxy S4 smartphone. The smartphone has a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with a qHD resolution and weighs in at 107 g. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core processor. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. The S4 mini is equipped with an 8 megapixel shooter on the rear and a 1.9 megapixel camera on the front.

The smartphone is equipped with many of the same features that are already present on the S4, including Samsung’s TouchWiz Nature UX. It also has many pre-installed apps including S Travel, Group Play and ChatOn. The Galaxy S4 mini will be available in two colours on launch – White Frost and Black Mist. This is the the LTE version of the handset that will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 chip. It is priced at Rs 27,900 and comes with an introductory offer of 2GB 3G data free per month for 3 months from Reliance.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 mini will be available for purchase roughly around the 15th of this month.
