Samsung Galaxy S III mini to be launched today

It’s official. Samsung has confirmed that it will be launching the 4 inch version of their flagship Galaxy S III device called the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini today. Samsung’s Mobile chief JK Shin was quoted in the Korean press as saying, “There’s a lot of demand for a 4-inch screen device in Europe. Some call it an entry-level device, but we call it mini.”

The device will be launched in Frankfurt, Germany. No other details about the smartphone have be revealed by the South-Korean firm. Since it is believed to be an entry-level device, it’s likely that the device will cost much less. No news on when it will come to India and at what price.
