Samsung Galaxy Note 5 to feature USB Type-C port, 4100mAh battery: Report

Looks like Samsung’s next focus after the Galaxy S6 models will be the upcoming Galaxy Note 5. A few more specifications have surfaced which indicate that the new device will feature a USB 3.1 Type-C port. With this added feature, users can charge their devices faster and have no need to worry about which side their cable is facing either. The USB allows transfer of power video, and audio in both directions. The news was reported by a Chinese website stated that the new Galaxy Note 5 will not adopt a 4K display, as was **previously rumoured** . Also, the device will have a 5.89-inch screen compared to the 5.7-inch seen on the Note 4. In other features, the new smartphone will include UFS 2.0 Flash memory, which has been seen on the latest Samsung Galaxy S6 devices. It will also be equipped with 4100 mAh large capacity battery, body thickness of 7.9mm or so, the same It provides award-winning S-Pen stylus. According to a previous **report** , the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is rumoured to be powered by an Exynos 7422 processor. “The Exynos 7422 is expected to be the company’s first ever all-in-one solution (ePoP) as it will combine the CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, and modem on a single chip,” the report adds. In the past, Chinese video streaming site LeTV unveiled three new smartphones namely the LeTV One, LeTV One Pro and the LeTV One Max which the company claimed, were the first ever smartphones to have USB Type-C ports. The most notable perk of this feature is that unlike traditional micro USB, Type C tips are reversible. Chinese billionaire Jia Yueting, the founder and CEO of internet video site Leshi TV (LeTV), who had **compared tech giant Apple to Hitler** last month, will launch these devices in the US later this year.
