Samsung’s upcoming oversized phablet—the Galaxy Mega 6.3—is now available for pre-order on online shopping website Flipkart. The phablet is expected to somehow be available on the fifth week of June; pre-ordering it will set you back by Rs 30,990. The Galaxy Mega 6.3 doesn’t seem to be available on other websites.

The price on Flipkart is slightly lower than the price at which Samsung had officially launched the phablet last month.

The Galaxy Mega 6.3 comes with a 6.3-inch display with a decent 720p resolution. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz. The phablet has 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 64GB thanks to a microSD card slot.

It has an 8 megapixel shooter at the back and a 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera. It also has dual-SIM support and comes with the typical connectivity options including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G and GPS. The Galaxy Mega 6.3 also has NFC support. It is kept alive by a 3200 mAh battery, which should manage to keep it running for quite some time.

The Galaxy Mega 6.3 was launched alongside its smaller sibbling—the still ridiculously-large Galaxy Mega 5.8. The Mega 5.8 is priced at Rs 25,100. Hardware-wise, it more or less has the same specs as the Mega 6.3, but it runs on a slightly underclocked 1.4GHz processor. The other major difference between the Mega 6.3 and the Mega 5.8 is the lack of NFC on the latter.

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns. see more
