Samsung Galaxy Core Prime VE launched at Rs 8,600 in India

Samsung has introduced a new smartphone to its affordable range of devices called the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime VE. The device has been listed on the company’s India e-store and carries a price tag at Rs 8,600. It is offered in White, Grey and Silver color variants.

Samsung Galaxy Core Prime VE launched at Rs 8,600 in India

Samsung has introduced a new smartphone to its affordable range of devices called the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime VE. The device has been listed on the company’s India e-store and carries a price tag at Rs 8,600. It is offered in White, Grey and Silver color variants. In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 4.5-inch display with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM. It comes equipped with 8GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. ![Capture](http://tech.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Capture15.jpg) The devices includes Android KitKat 4.4 and comes equipped with a 5MP rear camera along with a 2MP front facing camera. Connectivity options include Wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-fi Direct, Wi-fi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 3G. A 2,000mAh battery completes the package. Samsung had also launched the  **Samsung's Galaxy Core Prime**  in December 2014. With this smartphone, Samsung offered us a 4.5-inch WVGA PLS display at 480×800 pixels. The dual-SIM smartphone came with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The Galaxy Core Prime also sported Android 4.4 KitKat and had an inbuilt storage of 8GB which could be expanded upto 64GB with the microSD card. The camera specs were also the same.
