Samsung has quietly released their new Samsung Galaxy Core Prime smartphone in India. The device is now available with retail stores along with their e-commerce website for Rs 9700. With this smartphone, Samsung offers us a 4.5-inch WVGA PLS display at 480x800 pixels. The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The Android 4.4 KitKat based smartphone has an inbuilt storage of 8GB and can be expanded upto 64GB with the microSD card. The handset is also said to include 5MP autofocus rear camera along with a 2MP front facing camera. One will find a 2000mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the phone has Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and 3G. The smartphone is available in three colors namely Charcoal Grey, White, and Silver. Earlier **reports** suggest that Samsung was suppose to launch the A Series smartphones in November which included three mid-ranged handsets targeting Xiaomi. None of these are available to consumers in India as yet. Another **report** also stated that Samsung was planning to launch a Tizen smartphone in India on Dec 10.
