Samsung might be stuck dealing with the Galaxy Note 7 battery fiasco , but that hasn’t stopped the company from announcing the Galaxy A9 Pro in India.
Just like the previous Galaxy A series handsets, this model also comes with a glass and metal body.
The smartphone has a large, phablet design and is a mid-segment offering from Samsung. Features include a 6-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with a 2.5D curved Gorilla glass panel. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor coupled with 4GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage and an Adreno 510 GPU.
There is a 16MP rear camera with an f/1.9 aperture, OIS and a front 8MP camera with a similar aperture size. Other features include a dual-SIM card slot, 4G LTE connectivity, fingerprint scanner, and a 5,000mAH battery with fast charge support.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro is priced at Rs 32,490. It will be available in three colors; gold, black and white, and will be available in stores starting 26 September.
