Samsung has just launched a new device, the Galaxy Core, which has some of the smart features of its flagship device, the Galaxy S4.
The smartphone has a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, along with 8GB Internal memory and 1GB RAM. It has 4.3 inch (480x800 pixels) TFT LCD display. The camera is a 5-megapixel rear camera and the front camera is a VGA one. It has 1,800mAh battery. The smartphone runs Android 4.1 version of Jelly Bean.
In terms of connectivity, the device supports 3G and 2G Internet, along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0. The device will be sold in two different versions - a single SIM is out in July and a dual-SIM variant will be available from this month.
Smart features of the GALAXY Core include:
• Smart Stay: Recognises when a user is looking at the phone, when a user looks away and dims the screen.
• Smart Alert: Alerts the user to missed calls and messages when the device is picked up.
• Motion UI: Activates common functions such as refresh or mute with simple motion commands.
• S Voice: Provides voice command functionality.
