Samsung completes 20 years of 'Make in India'; celebrates with consumer-friendly offers

It has been a long twenty year journey in India from being a foreign brand to setting up two factories, three R&D centres and a design centre to becoming one of India’s most trusted consumer brands. And at the end of this year Samsung is celebrating its ‘big 20’ by going big on offers and giving back to its customers. Commenting on its 20 year long journey that began in 1995, HC Hong, President and CEO of Samsung India, said, “The last two decades has been a glorious journey for Samsung India. Along the way, we touched millions of hearts and became one of India’s biggest multinational corporations by revenue. This achievement is a result of the collective effort of all our colleagues, partners and consumers who have stood by us and believed in us over these years.”  And with the celebrations come the offers and Samsung has plenty of them across product categories. The Korean electronics giant has a 20 day special offer that starts from 11 December till the 30 December. The offers include 20 Easy EMI options, one time Screen Replacement on select models of Smartphones valid for one year, up to 20 percent cashback on exchange and 20 easy EMI options on select TVs, ACs, refrigerators, washing machines and microwave ovens. Samsung will also offer 20 percent off on extended warranty packs across select mobile and consumer electronic products. And offers will not be limited to hardware, but software as well with company pushing out about 20 offers on its ‘My Galaxy’ application. Samsung Brand Stores will also have exclusive offers in the form of free product insurance, 5 percent cashback for HDFC Bank credit card holders and Samsung SmartClub loyalty points. In addition to the Samsung Brand Stores, the promotion offers will be available across all leading mobile and electronics retailers.
