Samsung all set to launch Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge in India today

Samsung has started sending out invites for the launch of its flagship devices - Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge - in India. The launch event is slated to take place in New Delhi on Monday. It is known that Samsung will start shipping the new Galaxy S6 models in April.  So, India launch before that was expected as the company can open up pre-orders for the devices here. Recently,  **Samsung Netherlands site** had listed the 32GB variant of Galaxy S6 for € 699 (approximately Rs 48,400), the 64 GB version for €799 (which comes to Rs 55,300) and the Galaxy S6 Edge for 32 GB version at €849 (which comes to approximately Rs 58,800), while the 64 GB version of the S6 Edge is listed as €949 (which comes to Rs 65,700). The price of the 128 GB version of the smartphone was not mentioned on the site, raising suspicions on whether it will be part of the initial launch phase. An earlier report had said that the 128GB version of the Galaxy S6 will cost €949, while the Galaxy S6 Edge’s 128GB variant will be priced €1049 which comes to Rs 73,300. The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge have a metal frame and a glass body both on the front and back.
