Apple to announce Apple Store 2.0

Apple pays as much attention to their stores as they do to their products and the revamp of their stores suggest the same. New details are emerging that the new stores will have an even better customer experience with Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs and Senior VP of Design Jonathan Ive personally designing this new setup.

The features of Apple Store 2.0 are rumoured to include Personal Setup which will have new dedicated areas in stores called “Startup Sessions.” The new bars will be even more interactive. At the Apple Store 2.0, all paper signs will be replaced by interactive iPads and a new Apple Store iOS app will be released. Some of the Apple Stores will feature new huge displays as well as brand new sound systems.

Sources have informed 9to5Mac that the stores have received some boxes that are to be opened only by the store’s visual manager and that these boxes are for the new store or window displays. They also claim that other sources inform them that Apple will be doing some more training for employees on iPads.
