One of the most popular games in the world, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, is making its way to iOS and Android devices, and Rockstar has decided to give us one more glimpse into what it’ll be like. A new trailer released by the company gives a good idea of all the graphical enhancements you’ll see in the 10th Anniversary Edition of the game, which will be arriving on December 6. The trailer takes you back to the neon-lit parody of Miami and drops you in the midst of an alternate re-telling of Scarface.

GTA: Vice City tackles the backstory of the universe Rockstar created with GTA III. While GTA III is said to take place in Liberty City in the early 2000s, Vice City takes place in the titular city – which is modelled on Miami – in the 60’s. Vice City’s protagonist is Tommy Vercetti, and the game’s story is heavily influenced by the movie Scarface. Vice City was the first game in the Grand Theft Auto franchise to feature bikes as usable vehicles. It also introduced alternate costumes for the character as a gameplay mechanic that helps you lose the police.

Back in October, another classic made its way to iOS devices – Crazy Taxi . Crazy Taxi was originally released in 1999 for arcade machines back when those things were famous. The game was then ported on to Dreamcast in 2000 and PC in 2002. Crazy Taxi focuses on four ’extreme’ cab drivers – Axel, BD Joe, Gena and Gus. Each character has his or her own special car and attributes, which gave the game unique replay value, as you can try to get the highest scores with all four characters. The main aim of the game is to pick up random pedestrians looking for a taxi ride, and find the most exhilarating and insane route to their destination within the time limit. It doesn’t matter if you go off-road, through a mall, through a picnic or even underwater. All of this is done for tips, which add to your high score.

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns. see more
