Telecom operators continue to allure customers following the recent 3G price cuts. Tata Docomo has partnered with RIM to offer Blackberry 9320 post-paid subscribers 10GB data and a certain number of free calls. The bundled services that Dococmo is offering includes a plan worth Rs 1,080 on monthly basis that ensures customers opting for the plan will recover the cost of the new BlackBerry device in 15 months.

Francis Jose, head of CDMA business, RIM said, “To avail the facility, customer can buy BlackBerry 9320 from any store across India but this offer which has 10 GB data download limit will be available on GSM network of Tata Docomo.” So, the user can avail of this offer only on the GSM model of the BlackBerry 9320. After the users exhausts the 600 minutes of free calls, they will be charged standard rate of 1 paisa per second as applicable by Tata DoCoMo network.

Tata Docomo had recently introduced its new way of registering mobile numbers and also adding value added services to its users by simply using their Twitter accounts.

It allows GSM prepaid customers to tweet at the Tata Docomo Twitter account @tatadocomo with their request and the company has been calling this new initiative ‘TwittCom.’ Users can register their mobile number by sending a tweet to @tatadocomo and type #reg .
