Restoration of PSN to Begin Tomorrow in Asia

It seems that the Sony PSN outage is nearing its end. The company has announced that a partial restoration of the network in Asia will take place tomorrow. The outage has lasted more than a month in Asia with some regions already having the service resumed from the 15th of May.

Most Asian services to be up and running by tomorrow

Sony said that the PSN and Qriocity service will restart from tomorrow in Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand. Meanwhile the services in countries like Hong Kong and South Korea will still remain offline for the time being. The company has added advanced security technologies and added software to keep an eye out for hackers and vulnerabilities. Furthermore the company has also improved its network infrastructure to perceive any abnormal activity patterns that may compromise the network. Makiko Noda, a spokeswoman commenting on the status of the network said that Sony plans to restart the network fully by the end of the month.
