Reliance Retail's LYF Water 5 smartphone to sell for Rs 11,699 exclusively on Amazon

Reliance Retail has added yet another smartphone to its LYF brand called the LYF Water 5. The smartphone is priced at Rs 11,699 and will be exclusively available on Amazon India. The LYF Water 5’s highlight apart from its large 5-inch display is its dual SIM set up with support for VoLTE, that is similar to what you also get with the other smartphones in the rest of LYF series . On the front we get a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display with Asahi’s Dragontrail glass for protection. Inside, we get a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage with no support for expansion. The camera department consists of a 13MP rear camera with an LED flash, while a 5MP front-facing unit is in charge of selfies. We get the usual connectivity options, including 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. All of the above is powered by a 2,920mAh battery. Jio recently announced a referral program for its employees that lets more users get an experience of the Jio boquet of services. Current Jio users can invite up to 10 friends to try out Jio services by purchasing a LYF smartphone.
