Reliance Mobile World to Get 'Malgudi Days'

Reliance Communications has launched R.K Narayan’s famous series, ‘Malgudi Days’ on Reliance Mobile World, as a value added service for its subscribers.

Each ‘Malgudi Days’ video clip and ring tone download will be charged Rs. 7 and the wallpapers will be available for download, at Rs. 5. Reliance Mobile Customers may also access the content on 1234 Voice Portal by saying ‘Malgudi Days’, at Rs. 6/- per minute.

Malgudi Days content is provided to Reliance subscribers, by Verity Technologies of Bangalore. The launch of Malgudi Days, on Reliance Mobile World coincides with the birth centenary of author R.K. Narayan. ‘Malgudi Days’ was first telecast in India as television series, in the 1980s.
