Reliance Retail has announced yet another smartphone under its Lyf brand. The new Wind 7S its the latest 4G VoLTE smartphone which comes as a successor to the company’s Wind 7 smartphone.
The Lyf Wind 7S comes with a 5-inch HD 1280x720 resolution display. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 1.3GHz quad-core processor you get 2GB of RAM. It offers 16GB of built-in storage which is further expandable via microSD card of up to 128GB.
Rest of the features include an 8MP rear camera with an LED flash while of the front there is a 5MP camera for taking selfies. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The battery is rated at 2250mAh which is claimed to offer around 9 hours 4G talk time, 5 hours video playback, and 32 hours of non-stop music. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow which comes with a feature called ‘Multiple gestures’ that lets you wake up the handset device, start the camera, control the music player, mute incoming calls and access apps from the locked screen using gestures.
The smartphone has been priced at Rs 5,699 and has been listed on the company website. The listing says that it will come with the Jio preview offer as well as an extended one year warranty offer.
