Reliance Jio has introduced new data booster plans for its prepaid users after refreshing a number of its prepaid plans over the past few months.
Reliance Jio prepaid users were earlier allowed to choose from five booster packs, worth Rs 11, Rs 51, Rs 91, Rs 201 and Rs 301. The company has revised the existing add-on packs to four offerings, revising the rates to Rs 11, Rs 21, Rs 51 and Rs 101.
Rs 11 plan which earlier allowed 100 MB of high-speed 4G data has been revised to allow 400 MB of high-speed data usage after which speeds will be throttled at 64 Kbps. The Rs 51 plan has also been revised to provide users 3 GB of high-speed data instead of the 1 GB allowance earlier. The two new add-on packs worth Rs 21 and Rs 101 provides 1 GB and 6 GB of high-speed data respectively.
The validity of all the add-on packs will be same as the base plan that user has opted for. They do have the option to buy more add-on packs once their current add-on pack has exhausted.
The company's recent Republic Day offer updated all its plans offering 1 GB of high-speed 4G data per day to 1.5 GB, while plans offering 1.5 GB of data per day were revised to now offering 2 GB data daily. Reliance Jio's plans priced Rs 149, Rs 349, Rs 399 and Rs 449 now offer 1.5 GB of data daily while its Rs 198, Rs 398, Rs 448, and Rs 498 plans offer 2 GB data per day.
