Razer has announced that its new gaming laptops – the 14-inch Blade and the 17-inch Blade Pro – are now up for pre-order on the official Razer Blade website . There are three variants of the Razer Blade—the one with a 128GB SSD costs 1,799 (approximately Rs 1,01,931), the one with a 256GB SSD costs $1,999 (approximately Rs 1,13,263) and the one with a 512GB SSD costs $2,299 (approximately Rs 1,30,261).

The Razer Blade is slim, measuring in at just 0.66-inches. Coming to users with a 4th generation Intel Core processor as well as an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765M GPU. The Blade, like its bigger brother the Blade Pro, utilises solid-state storage technology. The laptop is seen with a rigid all-aluminum chassis and will also feature a custom-designed trackpad and backlit gaming grade keyboard.

The Razer Blade comes to users with a 14-inch LED-backlit HD+ display with a native resolution of 1600 x 900. The laptop will additionally feature 8GB of 1600MHz DDR3L memory. The audio needs, like the 17-inch Blade Pro, are taken care of by a Dolby Home Theatre v4 system.

The Blade was unveiled alongside the Blade Pro, which is a 17-inch gaming laptop. It is also available for pre-order on Razer’s website . The Blade Pro comes in three variants—a 128GB version for $2,299 (approximately Rs 1,30,261), a 256GB version for $2,499 (approximately Rs 1,41,593) and a 512GB version for $2,799 (approximately Rs 1,58,591).

The 17-inch laptop is 0.88 inches thin and weighs in at 6.5 pounds. The Blade Pro features a 47-watt Intel chip, which gives 10 watts more than the previous offers. The audio needs in this laptop are taken care of by a Dolby Home Theatre v4, along with other peripherals such as Razer Synapse 2.0, which is a programmable anti-ghosting keyboard with an adjustable backlight and a sensitive track pad.

The Blade Pro also comes in with a full-HD 17-inch LED display that is linked in combination with the Switchblade User Interface (SBUI). The laptop’s SBUI also comes in with new apps and a wide array of tools for free, including programs like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro, Maya and GIMP.  The Razer Blade Pro also features 8GB of fast 1600MHz DDR3L memory.
