Ubisoft’s latest mobile platformer—Rayman Fiesta Run—is out now for iOS and Android devices. The game is available on the iTunes App Store and Google Play for Rs 170 and Rs 224 respectively. According to the iTunes page for the game, it also features some in-app purchases. The game has been developed by Ubisoft Casablanca, and promises to improve on the original in every conceivable way.

Set amongst maracas, hot pepper disco balls and a festive fiesta backdrop, Rayman will lunge for cocktail umbrellas, leap on limes, punch piñatas and face new bosses and Invasion levels, raising the level of challenge in the game. The game has a total of 75 levels that have been created from scratch. It also has some social features that let players share achievements and challenge friends.

For iOS players of Rayman Jungle Run, lums that have been collected so far can be transferred over to Fiesta Run to help them get a head start on Rayman’s latest adventure. To heighten the competition and keep up with friends, Rayman Fiesta Run players will now be able to share their achievements, challenge other players to top their high scores and see their progression on the new world map.

Over time, there have been quite a few updates to the UBIArt Framework, which in turn results in a better looking game, especially for in-game environments. The UBIArt Framework is the same engine that brought players Rayman Legends and will also be powering the upcoming Child of Light and Valiant Hearts: the Great War.
