A new tablet has now emerged out of Samsung’s kitty dubbed Galaxy W in Korea. Launched via telecom operator SK Telecom in Korea, the Galaxy W is available for SKW 4,99,400 that translates to approximately Rs 28,800 without contract. Like most of the tablets these days, the Galaxy W comes with voice calling ability, along with support for LTE-A network connectivity. It sports a 7-inch HD display. The pixel density is unclear as the exact resolution isn’t specified. It runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. Powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, it is coupled with 1.5GB of RAM. The chipset isn’t specified. The Galaxy W comes with an 8-megapixel rear snapper and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The 16GB built-in storage is expandable up to 64Gb via microSD card up slot. Along with chipset and exact resolution, some other details like battery capacity and connectivity options are unclear yet. It is still unclear if Samsung plans to launch the tablet in other regions outside Korea. A couple of days back, Samsung launched the **Galaxy S5 Active** via AT&T. The Active variant only adds an elaborate shock resistant rugged body to Samsung’s flagship smartphone, which is already quite brilliant. The phone has more or less the same specifications as the S5, but doesn’t feature the fingerprint scanner, which Samsung introduced as a response to Apple’s TouchID.
