The PlayStation portable’s firmware update has been released by Sony, and will be downloadable via the Network Adapter feature.
The patch includes the much awaited PS3 compatibility feature, which allows you to use the PSP as a PS3 controller. There are also some other tweaks, such as the feature that allows you to turn off the ‘Auto-Load’ feature for UMDs (Universal Media Discs) on your PSP. Apart from this, you will be able to view pictures and videos on your phone. In case the new features puzzle you, there is an offline manual available for download, which covers most of the new features it adds.
