PSN users were claiming to have received an error message saying, “An error has occurred. You have been signed out of the PlayStation Network. (80710092)” Responding to tweets, Sony’s EU PlayStation Community Team staff member, Yaster said via Twitter that PSN is experiencing a couple of issues with sign in right now, looking into it, in the meantime don’t sign out!. Sony said that users may face some problems while trying to sign in as they were working on a full restoration of the service.

The service is back online with Sony confirming it; however the PSN store is still unavailable. Reports are suggesting that this downtime is only affecting a few users whereby they cannot log in to the network. Apparently this was a planned outage by the company to ensure that their services will be up and running by the end of the month.
