Developed and published by Glu exclusively for mobile phones, PGR Mobile is the first mobile adaptation of the Project Gotham Racing franchise developed by Bizarre Creations for Microsoft Xbox and Xbox 360 video game and entertainment systems.

“Project Gotham Racing is the number one action-oriented racing franchise, and PGR Mobile captures the high-quality gameplay with the style and speed true to the original franchise,” said Jill Braff, general manager of the Americas, Glu Mobile. “We’re excited to bring the first mobile adaptation of this award-winning franchise to mobile phones around the world.”

“The Project Gotham Racing franchise is loved by millions worldwide,” said Edward Ventura, Director of Franchise Development at Microsoft. “Glu has the demonstrated ability to capture the excitement of the Project Gotham Racing franchise and deliver a truly innovative and dynamic mobile game.”

Players can choose between eight of today’s hottest cars — the Honda NSX, Aston Martin Vanquish, Cadillac 16, Ford GT, Lamborghini Gallardo, Mercedes AMG-C-DTM, Toyota GT-ONE and Corvette C6 — through detailed city landscapes in of San Francisco, Paris, London, Cairo and Shanghai.

Each vehicle’s unique physics and engine specifications including top speed and horsepower are emulated in the game, and preserving the hallmark style-based racing mechanic, players earn ‘Kudos’ by drifting around corners, making use of other racers slipstreams (drafting), overtaking and getting air time over jumps. Extra bonuses are available for particularly skillful and stylish motoring where the player combines a series of kudos maneuvers.

Ask the intern who lost two of his er.... Oh ok, I guess we don't talk about that. Now after she got a kid, things have relatively mellowed down. Besides handling the plethora of content that comes out of Tech2, Sharon also handles our sister site, CompareIndia where you can well compare prices of pretty much every electronic item under the sun and CHIP magazine as well, if things weren't heavy enough. She handles a team, all of who seem real happy as long as they're not chained to their desks. see more
