Pokémon GO results in 101 percent growth of smartphone battery packs

Pokémon GO has been in the news for the right as well as the wrong reasons. Since its launch, we have seen tremendous interest in the game and it’s only growing. One important fact is that the game resulted in 101 percent growth of the Power Bank industry within the USA. The statement was released by an NPD report in mid-July which outlined the strong demand for portable power packs. The game has somehow managed to retain the traction one month after the launch of the game. It has been in the news from the start for all the right reasons, of why this game is something different, to the wrong reasons, of people not being mindful while playing and getting injured. The company has been under fire for removing features that made the game easy to play including the constantly crashing servers. The gamers have been warned not to trespass by authorities and the game has even been banned in Iran. The game has  crossed 100 million Play Store downloads in one month. The number does not include the APKs being sideloaded along with the iOS App store numbers but even these stats paint a pretty great picture on the prospects of the game. The game was just launched in 15 south East Asian countries and it still is not officially launched in India. The game has crossed $200 million in global revenue in just one month.
