The Xperia Play, which was finally officially launched at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, has now been playced on play-order by UK online retailer Play.com. That’s enough playing around from me then (heh), the Xperia Play has been made available for pre-order and has received a release date and a tentative pricing.
Play.com gets you ready to Play
Play.com has listed the Xperia Play for £514.99 (approx Rs. 37,500) and have slated it for a February 25 release date. Funnily enough, that’s the exact same date Expansys have listed as the release date for the LG Optimus 3D. With the Optimus 3D also gaining some momentum as a casual 3D gaming device - Gameloft titles and Angry Birds are coming to the device in 3D - could this be a gaming phone head-to-head?
Anyway, here’s hoping the device makes it to our shores soon.
