 "Play.com Lists the LG Optimus 2X and Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc for Pre-Order")
The NVIDIA Tegra 2 powered LG Optimus 2X smartphone has just gotten itself a UK release date and pricing as has the Sony Ericsson Xperia X12 Arc, if UK online retailer Play.com’s pre-order listings are to be believed.
The dual-core benchmarking beast
The Optimus 2X and Xperia Arc will both cost a cool 499 pounds, which translates to roughly Rs. 36,300. Play has offered pre-order discounts though – the Optimus 2X will cost 470 pounds (Rs. 34,100), whereas the Xperia Arc will set you back by GBP 460 (Rs. 33,400).
Surprise!
The LG Optimus 2X is expected to release on March 18, whereas the Sony Ericsson Xperia X12 Arc is expected to arrive on April 1 (heh). We just hope the smartphones make it to India soon afterwards and don’t cost too much more when they do arrive.
