Nokia has today announced its first ever Android-based phone series at the MWC in Barcelona. Nokia launched the X, X+ and XL smartphones which will run a forked version of Android. Sadly the smartphone won’t have access to the official Google Play Store, but it will be able to run most Android apps that are already available. Here’s a look at Nokia’s phones in pictures. [caption id=“attachment_218847” align=“alignnone” width=“640”] The X and X+ have a 4-inch displays, while the XL has a 5-inch display[/caption] Nokia has not announced India-specific availability or price, but says the Nokia X will start retailing for 89 euros (approx Rs 7,600), the X+ for 99 euros (approx Rs 8,400) and will hit stores in Q2 this year. It comes with 4GB of internal storage.[/caption] The Nokia XL also boasts of 768MB RAM, the free MicroSD card and it has both a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for Skype calls, as well as a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and flash.
