 "Pantel launches Penta T-Pad with Ice-Cream Sandwich for Rs 4999")
Pantel Technologies Private Limited (PTPL) has launched an Android tablet PC named IS701C, reports Tech2.in . Pantel has also formed an alliance BSNL to ensure that the tablet will be available to the remote parts of India.
Since the tablet is priced for only Rs 4,999, the low-cost could make it a perfect option for those seeking a cheaper tablet.
Key features of the tablet include:
• A cortex A8 1 GHz processor
• A 7-inch screen with a 800x480 pixel LCD screen with capacitive, multi-touch capabilities.
• Android 4.0: The device comes with the latest Ice cream Sandwich (ICS) Android operating system.

• The Penta T-Pad IS701C Tablet PC has Wi-Fi capabilities with 3G USB dongle support. It has a host USB 2.0 port, a micro USB port, and a 0.3 MP front camera.
• The tablet has a 512 MB DDR III RAM with an internal storage of 4 GB (expandable to 32 GB).
The table comes with the following apps: Facebook, Twitter, Angry Birds, and Skype for video. Pantel claims that the tablet has more than 6 hours of battery back-up.
