Eluga Ray 500 is the company's first dual-camera phone while Eluga Ray 700 is a selfie-centric smartphone.

Eluga Ray 500 has been introduced at Rs 8,999 and Eluga Ray 700 would cost Rs 9,999.

"Both the smartphones would retail exclusively on Flipkart, starting September 20 when 'Big Billion Day' sales begin on the e-commerce site," Pankaj Rana, Business Head, Mobility Division, Panasonic India, told reporters here.

Eluga Ray 500 features 5-inch HD IPS display with 2.5 D curved design. The dual-camera comes with 13 MP + 8 MP sensors. It is powered by 1.25 GHz Quad-core processor coupled with 3 GB RAM. A 4000 mAh battery powers the device.

Meanwhile, Eluga Ray 700 has 5.5 inch Full-HD IPS 2.5D curved display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

It features 13 MP Sony IMX 258 rear camera lens with Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) and 13 MP selfie camera with flash. The device comes with 5000 mAh battery with quick charging feature.

The phone is powered by a 1.3 GHz Octa-core processor and 3 GB RAM.

Both the devices are packed with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory which can be further expandable up to 128 GB via Micro SD card slot.

The phones run Android 7.0 Nougat OS and provide connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

Eluga Ray 500 and Ray 700 would retail in champagne gold, mocha gold and marine blue colours.
