Panasonic has launched Eluga A3 and A3 Pro, at a launch event in New Delhi. The company has priced the A3 and A3 Pro at Rs 11,290 and Rs 12,790 respectively. The devices will go on sale starting 10 August 2017 on Panasonic brand shops and other retail channels across the country.
Both the devices will feature a full-metal body with 9.1 mm of thickness and a weight of 161 gms. They will pack a 5.2-inch HD display with 'Asahi Dragon Trial' glass for sharper image quality and vivid colours while running Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box with Arbo AI assistant. One of the key highlights for the company is Arbo, an AI-powered smart assistant to help users track their daily usage and make suggestions to them accordingly.
The A3 will be powered by MediaTek MTK6737 quad-core processor clocked at 1.25 GHz and the A3 Pro will be powered by MediaTek MTK6753 octa-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. Both the devices will come with 3 GB of RAM. However, the A3 Pro will come with 32 GB of internal storage and A3 will come with 16 GB of internal storage. The company has also added 4G-enabled Dual SIM slots along with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, 3.5 mm headphone jack and micro USB 2.0 port for connectivity.
Users can expand the storage of both the devices both of which can be expanded up to 128 GB with a microSD card. It is unclear if the devices will sport a separate microSD card slot or if the company has packed one nano-SIM slot with a second hybrid SIM card for nano-SIM and microSD card. Both phones will feature a fingerprint sensor on the front, ambient light, proximity, accelerometer sensors, and FM Radio support to improve the feature-set of the device.
Moving to the camera section, both phones come with a 13 MP camera sensor on the back and a 8 MP camera sensor on the front for better selfies. Panasonic has added a 4000 mAh battery to ensure long battery life. The phones will come in three colours which are Mocha Gold, Gold and Grey.
