Panasonic has launched the successor of the Eluga U, the Eluga U2 at a price tag of TWD 7,990 which is approximately Rs. 15,700. The smartphone is up fro grabs from Yahoo’s online store in Taiwan. No information has been provided about its availability.
The Eluga U2 sports a 5 inch full HD IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The device is powered by a 64-bit quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. It is paired with 2GB RAM. It has an inbuilt storage of 16GB and can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
The Eluga U2 is the first device by Panasonic to run Android 5.0 Lollipop. It has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera. The Panasonic Eluga U2 is a single-SIM device and comes along with 2500mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the device has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS/ A-GPS. The handset measures 141.5x71x7.95mm and weighs 131 grams.
Last year, Panasonic launched the Eluga U for Rs 17,220 in India. The device sports a 5-inch IPS OGS display with 720 x 1280 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.
The Eluga U comes with 13MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera. The smartphone features 16GB of built-in storage that’s expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
