Fellow hackers have once again managed to make devices do something they were always meant to do, but didn’t because they were crippled by the manufacturer.

The latest is a hack for the Palm Treo 700w and 700wx smartphones that allow the device to play along nicely with Bluetooth A2DP headsets for some stereo tune-belting on the go.
Even though Windows Mobile 5 natively supports the A2DP profile in its Bluetooth implementation, the treo 700w and 700wx had that feature disabled. To get it working, all you need is a piece of software and a few handy commands.
